Larry Rhoden has officially been sworn in as the 34th Governor of South Dakota.
Rhoden said Monday that he has been preparing for the possibility of taking on the role of Governor for over a year.
Rhoden described the feeling of becoming Governor as “Surreal”
Rhoden announced during a media briefing after his swearing-in ceremony that he will be announcing his pick for Lieutenant Governor within the next few days.
