The name of the person that died in a single vehicle crash west of Tabor on Sunday has been released.
Preliminary crash information indicates the driver of a 2012 Ford Escape, Dustin John Joseph Cuka, age 29, of Tyndall was traveling westbound on SD Highway 50 near mile marker 364 when for an unknown reason, the vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch. The vehicle rolled, ejecting the driver.
Cuka was airlifted to a Sioux Falls hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
