Yankton Gazelles Basketball fell to Sioux Falls Christian last night, 74-25 in Yankton.
The Gazelles are back in action tonight alongside the Bucks in a boys and girls road doubleheader against Tea.

Mount Marty Men’s and Women’s Basketball will celebrate senior day tomorrow, as they host Concordia in their regular season finale.
The Bulldogs swept the Lancers when the two teams met in Seward, Nebraska on January 15th. The Lancer women lost 74-55 while the men fell 89-62.

Yankton Gazelles Wrestling finished 5th as a team at yesterday’s Region 2 Girls’ Wrestling Meet.
The Gazelles were led by 145 pound champion Winry Yaggie. Yaggie took a 7-3 decision over Harrisburg’s Sammie Reil in the championship match.
Also placing top-6 for the Gazelles were Chloe Caton, 3rd at 100, Alexis Brenden, 2nd at 120, Madison Brown, 4th at 126, Jaclyn Kite, 5th at 138, Bailey Groetken, 5th at 152, and Aleya Ruzicka, 5th at 185.
Next up for the Gazelles is the South Dakota High School Girls’ Wrestling State Championships next week in Rapid City.
Yankton Bucks Wrestling is on the road tonight for a Regional Tournament hosted by Brandon Valley. Matches are scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
The South Dakota Boys’ Bowling State Championship will be held today at the Yankton Family Center.
The Bucks enter the State Championship with the best record in the state at 12-1 on the season. Their lone loss came in the first week of the season to Harrisburg.
Doors open at 8:30 AM this morning for the tournament.
The Cedar Catholic Trojans claimed the Sub-District D1-3 Girls’ Basketball Championship last night with a 67-34 win over Bloomfield.
The Trojans dominated Sub-District D1-3, defeating Wausa 68-32 in the semifinals before their championship win. Across the two games, Cedar Catholic outscored their opponents 135-66.
The Trojans advanced to Districts with the win, and are one win away from the state tournament. District pairings are unannounced at this time.
The Crofton Warriors defeated Ord in the Sub-District C2-4 Girls’ Basketball Championship last night, 69-47.
Sammie Allen led the Warriors with 27 points in the win. Allen also posted 15 points in the Trojans Semi-Final win over Norfolk Catholic, giving her 42 points over the two games.
The Warriors advanced to Districts with the win, and are one win away from the state tournament. District pairings are unannounced at this time.
South Dakota Coyotes Women’s Basketball lost to the Omaha Mavericks last night, 71-57 in Omaha.
Alexi Hempe led USD in scoring with 20 points. Grace Larkins added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Coyotes.
USD is back in action tomorrow afternoon, taking on the St. Thomas Tommies in St. Paul, Minnesota. Tip-off is set for 1:00 PM.
South Dakota Coyotes Men’s Basketball is on the road in Omaha tomorrow night to take on the Omaha Mavericks.
USD defeated Omaha when the two teams met on January 29th, 91-87 inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

South Dakota State Women’s Basketball is on the road against the Kansas City Roos tomorrow afternoon in Kansas City,
SDSU is still undefeated in Summit League play at 13-0 with 3 games remaining in the regular season.
