The Yankton Fire Department and EMS teamed up over the weekend to take on the Yankton Police Department and Sheriff’s Department in the annual Battle of the Badges basketball game.
Despite the fire department and EMS winning in a close game 47-45, Yankton County Sheriff, Preston Crissey says what matters is that first responders and the community were able to gather together.
Proceeds from the game benefitted the Yankton Special Olympics and Battle of the Badges scholarship fund.
