Three-Vehicle Collision Near Meckling

A three-vehicle collision occurred near Meckling Tuesday afternoon.

The collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 50 and 454^th Avenue, three miles West of Meckling. One of the three vehicles involved was a pickup that was struck on its side, while another vehicle went into a nearby ditch.

There is no word on the status of the individuals involved in the incident.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol, Clay County Sheriff’s Department, and Vermillion Fire and EMS Departments were on the scene.
