The 2024 SHRM Fall Conference and Yankton Recognition Celebration was held in Yankton at the River Rock Event Center on Thursday.
Bonnie Gusso, who is with the Black Hills Special Services Cooperative, says that the celebration is held as a part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month.
Gusso says that the Employee of the Year is Patricia Meeks, who works at Wal-Mart.
This year’s Employer of the Year is Ben’s Brew Company.
